Material description

PLA can be completely decomposed into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) under 

natural conditions after being discarded.

PLA can form a weekly acidic environment on the surface of the product. It has a basis for antibacterial and antifungal. 

If other antibacterial agents are used in addition, it can achieve an antibacterial rate of more than 90%, and can be used 

for antibacterial packaging of products.

PLA objects can be fabricated by 3D printing, casting, injection moulding, extrusion, machining, and solvent welding.

4 PBAT  is a biodegradable random copolyme, specifically a copolyester of adipic acid, 1,4-butanediol 

and terephthalic acid(from dimethyl terephthalate).

It is generally seen as a fully biodegradable alternative to low-density polyrthylene, having many similar 

properties including flexibility and resilience, which makes it ideal for blending with another 

biodegradable polymer,  allowing it to be used for many similar uses such as plastic bags and wraps.

Degradation process

The process of degradation is carried out through microbial action, hydrolysis, oxidation and

other ways to decompose polymer molecules into small molecular substances, and eventually

form natural substances such as carbon dioxide, water and organic matter, without causing pollution

to the environment. Compared with ordinary plastic bags, degradable bags have the advantages of

environmental protection and sustainability.
